Research facilities at 

ADVANCED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGIES LABORATORY (AMTL)

Advanced Manufacturing Technologies Laboratory is the R & D laboratory which aims to conduct research on machining, surface integrity, additive manufacturing and to train engineers, master and doctorate students who are experts in these fields and to produce scientific-based permanent solutions to industrial problems. 

This laboratory consists of two parts: machining and material characterization. Advanced academic studies, such as machining (tool life, machining difficult-to-cut materials, chip breaking problems, etc.) and surface integrity (topographic problems, surface and sub-surface changes, dimensional distortions, microstructural transformations, etc.) analysis, modeling and optimization are carried out. In addition, it also contributes to R&D activities (TEYDEB 1501, TEYDEB 1507, KOSGEB projects, R&D centers, etc.) in the manufacturing industry in our country.
